Five Decades of Recovery Wisdom, Shared with Soul.

Seeking a Higher Power – Bibliography

Over the years, many people have asked me where they can go deeper, beyond my own writing, to better understand the spiritual dimensions of recovery. The truth is, I didn’t walk this path alone. I’ve been shaped, challenged, and inspired by many great thinkers, teachers, mystics, and seekers.

This bibliography is not meant to be exhaustive, but reflective, offering a glimpse into the voices that helped guide my journey through medicine, addiction treatment, and spiritual exploration. From theologians and psychologists to poets and prophets, each of these authors brings something meaningful to the conversation around faith, surrender, and the human spirit.

Whether you’re in recovery, walking alongside someone who is, or simply searching for a deeper connection, I hope this list offers you a few trustworthy companions along the way.
